This Friday, the heart of Boston will pulse with rhythm, sabor, and community at the season finale of Salsa Nights at the UnCommon Corner.

At the corner of Boylston and Tremont, music lovers and dancers will gather under the open sky to celebrate Latin culture through the universal language of music and dance. The evening will come alive with the electrifying sounds of the Queen of Timbales Zayra Pola, one of the few internationally recognized female timbaleras leading her own orchestra. Known for her fiery stage presence and unmatched musicianship, Zayra transforms every performance into an unforgettable celebration.

Adding to the night’s magic, DJ Hernan Choque of SYCDanceStudio will keep the beats flowing with the best Salsa rhythms from across the Americas. For anyone looking to join the fun, there will be free community Salsa lessons, the perfect way for beginners to step onto the dance floor and for seasoned dancers to warm up.

The excitement does not stop there. This finale comes on the heels of Zayra’s dazzling performance at Fiesta en la Plaza which lit up Boston last Sunday. Expect the same passion, fire, and community spirit now at UnCommon.

This event is curated by Ágora Cultural Architects in collaboration with Departure Arts and ArtsEmerson, two organizations dedicated to elevating diverse cultural voices in Boston’s public spaces. Together they bring you a night that is more than just a concert. It is a celebration of community, culture, and joy.
